§ Legal — Terms
Last updated: June 24, 2026
§ 01 — Acceptance
By creating an account or using ReflectAloud (the “Service”), operated by Artem Sobolev (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
§ 02 — What ReflectAloud is — and is not
ReflectAloud is an AI-powered supportive conversation tool. It is not medical or clinical care, not a substitute for a licensed therapist or doctor, and not for emergencies. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately.
§ 03 — Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
§ 04 — Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.
§ 05 — Tokens & payments
The Service uses tokens to access sessions. Tokens are sold in packages and consumed when you start or extend a session. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record (the seller of record) and processes your payment. Tokens are digital goods; refunds, where applicable, are handled through Lemon Squeezy’s policy. The Service is not a subscription.
§ 06 — Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service. Do not submit content that is illegal, abusive, or intended to harm others, and do not attempt to bypass safety features. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
§ 07 — AI limitations
AI responses may be inaccurate or inappropriate and must not be relied on as professional advice. The Service does not provide diagnosis or treatment. Where our safety system detects a crisis, it will direct you to professional resources.
§ 08 — Intellectual property
The Service, including its software and design, belongs to us. You retain rights to the content you submit, and you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service.
§ 09 — Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
§ 10 — Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service.
§ 11 — Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
§ 12 — Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.
§ 13 — Contact
